Warehouses
& Rack Storage Facilities
|
| Warehouse fires are extremely
challenging; they spread quickly and have immense increases
in heat release rate over a short period of time. This
is especially true when the fire involves commodities such
as flammable liquids, paper, and exposed plastics.
Fire sprinklers represent an important development in
the fight against warehouse fires. However, their performance
can be compromised if design guidelines are not closely
followed.
We have more than seventy years experience in the layout
and installation of in-rack and ESFR systems. Fire sprinkler
systems offer the ultimate in fire protection for the
warehouse, its contents, and the people who work there.
Also, we make every effort to become involved in the
conceptual stages of building and fire sprinkler system
design. This way, costly rework or unnecessary expense
can be avoided.
It is our way of assuring that our customers receive
the best fire protection value.
Another strong capability is the creation of warehouse
fire sprinkler systems that not only meet required codes
for the stored materials, but will also permit flexibility
in storage height, commodity arrangements, and materials
handling capability. Thus, the warehouse contents and
the owner's flexibility and operational profitability
is protected.
